SHORT ROUTE DESCRIPTION :

Day 1: Arrival Athens airport and transfer to pick up the bikes then Athens- Ano Trikala  (160 km)

The first day of the journey will be challenging but rewarding, because we cross the canal of Korinthos countryside towards Ziria Mountain, a sleeper among the local riders. After lunch we continue through curvy, pleasant streets towards the first peaks of the Ziria. We stay overnight in the Ano Trikala village. Trikala of Korinthia is consisted of three villages, Kato, Messaia and Ano, which is the largest village with an altitude of about 1100 m.

Day 2: Ano Trikala – Ano Trikala (185 km)

Ziria is surrounded by a number of smaller mountain ranges such as the Meteora. They provide us with magnificent landscapes and streets, and are the perfect playground for our bikes. Curves, asphalt and beautiful views of the Peloponnesian villages bring us to Kalavrita and  return to Ano Trikala.

Day 3:  Ano Trikala – Elatou (260 km)

Curves, asphalt and beautiful views of the Peloponnesian villages bring us to Patra and later to Nafpaktos, through the biggest gable bridge in Europe, Riou -Antiriou.  Elatou is a small village where we stay for the night.

Day 4: Elatou – Elatou (280 km)
 Our route takes us further into the rugged mountains,river, lake and canyons of Nafpaktia The beautiful street in this nature park in the North of Nafpaktia is quite unique and leads us towards Pavliani, once the capital of Nafpaktia.

Day 5: Elatou –  Karpenisi (150km)
Our route takes us further into the rugged mountains and canyons of Evritanias. The beautiful street in this nature park in the North of Nafpaktia is quite unique and leads us towards Karpenisi, once the capital of Evritania

Day 6: Karpenisi – Karpenisi (260 km)
We ride to Lake Plastiras, also known as «Little Switzerland«, is surrounded by an idyllic landscape of incomparable natural beauty that captivates the mind at first sight. Dreamlike in all aspects, it is one of the largest artificial lakes in Greece created in a location where in antiquity we could find the confluence of the rivers Tavropos and Achelous.It is a natural wonder that owes its existence to the inspired vision of General Nikolaos Plastiras (rightfully named after him) to create an impressive dam that would reinvigorate the entire region. Lake Plastira located in the wider area of Agrafa, lives every season at its fullest, promising to offer you the holiday you dreamed of. We have a snack of trout (traditional alive fish from river near the lake), through Velouhi Pass, within a short distance lies traditionally built Koryschades village where there is a very interesting Museum of National Resistance

Day 7: Karpenisi – Karpenisi (200 km)
The National Park of the Evritania is one of the most famous riding spots in Greece with the most important old bridges the beauty of nature.  We cross the gorge Krikelioti and famous Fidakia for the best view from above to the lake Kremaston.

Day 8: Karpenisi – Athens (290 km)

Leaving behind the Karpenisi, follow an amazing route through Levadia to Athens.

We have a farewell dinner in old city.

Day 9: Departure from Athens
